Many of the items I've blogged to date weren't exclusive to Gorean roleplay, they could transfer easily to other roleplay themes such as medieval. I've also been coming across some other freebies that would be great for roleplay, but I didn't write about them as they were not necessarily Gorean themed. So I've decided to create a new blog called Themed inSL that will feature a variety roleplay themes and not restrict myself to Gor.

All the posts from here have been transferred to the new location.
This will be the last post on this site. Come join me in my new home.

I'll be keeping the same SL avatar name, GoreanGoodies Shuffle, so you can continue to contact me with your tips or questions that way.

GMC Hunt Oct 24th to Nov 2nd

The Gorean Merchant Caste (GMC) Treasure Hunt has started with 50 participating locations. The starting point is here (look down on the ground for a clue to your first item). You are looking for collars, each contains a treasure and the landmark for the next location. Many vendors are displaying this sign which you can click to get a hint.

As this blog tends to focus heavily on clothing I thought I’d feature some of the fantastic roleplaying accessories this hunt had to offer.

Lucky at Vigo

Vigo has three lucky chairs rotating through more than 20 different gifts ranging from eyes to sandals and from rings to campfires.

Robes of Concealment: Free "Juliet brown" one of two sets of robes in the lucky chairs at Vigo.

Make Him Over Hunt

The 2nd Edition of the Make Him Over Hunt started today and runs until November 15th. I am about half way through the 174 locations and haven't really found anything suitable to roleplay in Gor yet but it's a great hunt.

Click to teleport to the locations and find the symbol for male, usually in yellow but there are some exceptions. Update Freebies at RIPPED

If you haven’t been to RIPPED recently you may not have noticed they updated their free gifts. RIPPED gives away five outfits, one each for women, men, kajira, and shown below the panther girls and kajirus.

Treasure Hunt. One Day Only!

Torvalds Forge has opened a new main store at Nordheim. To celebrate they are having a treasure hunt, 10 treasures to find for ONE DAY ONLY (Sunday July 5th).

I have not completed the hunt yet and don't have pictures for you. So far I have some great brands, a dice game, a tent, and a VERY special edition of the Ivar's outfit, but because of the limited time I posted anyway.

It's Torvalds Forge, you know it's worth going to check out.

JFTG at Aria’s Dream

The “Just for the Guys” hunt is going on through July 31, fedoras hidden in at least 70 stores containing various prizes for men. The most Gorean-like prize is in the hidden fedora at Aria’s Dream (store #7).

Running with Scissors at Magika

Magika is having a "Running with Scissors" hunt. There are five golden scissors spread out through the shop. Find the scissors, buy them for 0L, and these styles are what you will find.

As with all hunts, it's very laggy. Remove as many prims as possible, and all huds including radar and AO. Just hover/fly if you are worried about walking like a duck.
