Many of the items I've blogged to date weren't exclusive to Gorean roleplay, they could transfer easily to other roleplay themes such as medieval. I've also been coming across some other freebies that would be great for roleplay, but I didn't write about them as they were not necessarily Gorean themed. So I've decided to create a new blog called Themed inSL that will feature a variety roleplay themes and not restrict myself to Gor.

All the posts from here have been transferred to the new location.
This will be the last post on this site. Come join me in my new home.

I'll be keeping the same SL avatar name, GoreanGoodies Shuffle, so you can continue to contact me with your tips or questions that way.

GMC Hunt Oct 24th to Nov 2nd

The Gorean Merchant Caste (GMC) Treasure Hunt has started with 50 participating locations. The starting point is here (look down on the ground for a clue to your first item). You are looking for collars, each contains a treasure and the landmark for the next location. Many vendors are displaying this sign which you can click to get a hint.

As this blog tends to focus heavily on clothing I thought I’d feature some of the fantastic roleplaying accessories this hunt had to offer.

Make Him Over Hunt

The 2nd Edition of the Make Him Over Hunt started today and runs until November 15th. I am about half way through the 174 locations and haven't really found anything suitable to roleplay in Gor yet but it's a great hunt.

The “Just for the Guys” hunt is going on through July 31, fedoras hidden in at least 70 stores containing various prizes for men. The most Gorean-like prize is in the hidden fedora at Aria’s Dream (store #7).

Magika is having a "Running with Scissors" hunt. There are five golden scissors spread out through the shop. Find the scissors, buy them for 0L, and these styles are what you will find.

As with all hunts, it's very laggy. Remove as many prims as possible, and all huds including radar and AO. Just hover/fly if you are worried about walking like a duck.

Hunter's Cove

Hunter's Cove (Hunter IV) is a group of several different vendors and stores, many of which have a prize camping system.

Flames of Passion has two prize campers where you can sit for a period of time and earn items such as a bath camisk, couples pose balls, a water pitcher to be worn on the head and even a Tuchuk Tospit Wager game. I camped for 10 minutes to get this camisk.

Another prize camper that contains a Warrior’s outfit, a FW Gown, and several different slave chores is repeated at several different locations around the Sim. I camped for 15 minutes to get this wool carding chore.

While there, the lucky chair came up with G. This weeks prize is a Master's chair complete with a two person pose, although you have to use your imagination for the second pose.

I didn't know about this, I didn't copy them, it's just a strange Gorean karmic oddity. I joined the group and the tag reads "loves gorean goods".

AOs (animation overiders) are personal but they don't have to set you back as much as you think. Start with a free one, remove a few stands, add a favorite, and you have your own personalized AO.

Long Awkward Pose has the best free AO available in SL but are only for avatars under 30 days. Male and female version on the second floor.

Imperial Elegance has two female AOs with very natural stands. FW should try the "chubby" version so your hands don't disappear in your dress.

Free*Style outlet at BLUE BLOOD has a free male and female AO on the wall. Also another AO that includes 3 seperate notecards you can choose Girl, Boi, or Fresh. They also have a male and female version of the novelty AO called "COOOOOLD".

Sylva's Animations has a free male and female AO. These are loaded with quite a few stands and you might want to remove a few of the less natural ones.
